Rimi Natsukawa has a new album


Natsukawa Rimi's new album will be out in 2 weeks. That's so exciting. In case you don't know who she is - great singer from Ishigaki, Okinawa, unbelievable voice. Performs a lot of folk-songs and easy-listen style j-pop.

By the way, this is for all marketing folks out there (incl. my pal Gloria). Remember talking about how one would market calcium supplements? Interestingly, a Japanese company has taken the approach of creating a community of mum+daughters happily supplementing together and further enhance that togetherness feeling with use of famous female spokesperson - incidently Rimi Natsukawa. She's done numerous roadshows /concerts on their behalf - they even offer free BMD heel scans at their pre-concert activities!

Wow, the mother/daughter concept is also used in our Caltrate TVC in China as well.

We have 3 such BMD ultrasound machines in HK. Have been conducting FREE BMD tests for consumers for a few years now.

yeah, i remember being a osteoporosis rep and hiring a nurse and the ultrasound machine for a clinic day for about $300 CDN?
