I did what few people would do on Christmas Eve...work at a pharmacy. It's OK, because I had already gotten a great present at the start of my shift from the other pharmie - she's working all of Christmas day, so that I can be off. Thank you, Susan.
On the positive side I was there to help people get their last minute healthcare and shopping needs before heading into Christmas Day: something for that family member at home coughing, vitamins to send overseas, that glucometer and blood pressure monitor for those upcoming New Year's resolutions, etc. All this while we were serenaded by Shoppers satellite radio Christmas tunes - hey, more apt for the season that 南拳媽媽 or Jay周 : )
At midnight, with the closing announcement over the PA complete, all the employees gave out a cheer. Christmas is here afterall. It's special, regardless of how and who you spend it with.

Still at Woodside? I like working in retail at Xmas time cuz' I enjoy watching people busy doing their Xmas Shopping.
