Vancouver in January

I could not go to Tokyo with Gloria and Charlotte. Instead, I had a business meeting, which turned out to be an equally enjoyable week. There was a lot of work to do, but we did not forget to have fun afterwards. Since it's rained a record 25+ days in Van, we were mostly indoors. Highlight was the 80's party night. Prince Charming and Princess Di graced the evening with their royal presence.


I chose to wear my old school uniform from KGV. Hey, I wore it 5 days a week, 10 months each year - it's authentic. My 1st pair of specs from the 80's made the look complete (note the HUGE lenses!) Here's me imitating the woman from the school girl skit on Saturday Night Live, under the guidance of my friend. My attempts to recreate that 80's nostalgia fazed in comparison to many other people.

Take Boy George here, for example, one of the top-prize winners of the evening. Wow, that is really HIM! He was even invited on stage to lip-sync to "Kharma Chameleon"
