My Eventful Lobster June

June has just flew me by. What happened to time? I was in 3 very different places for work:

First trip to Atlanta, peach state Georgia, and home of CNN. Did not see much outside of Buckhead, where my hotel was, and downtown around the congress center. People were very friendly and always ready to help, but the taxi drivers who did not have a sense of direction was a little absurd. Also caught the human body specimen exhibition "Bodies". Though Atlanta was nowhere close to the ocean, seafood was very good. My great find - fried lobster (only in Georgia, I am told).

Next stop - Old Montreal, on a rainy, misty Saturday, and...Lobster bisque, hmm... See also my previous post about the hotel at which we stayed - Le Saint Sulpice.

Finally, I make my way to the birthplace of Canada, Charlottetown PEI, and what does one eat on the beautiful, vacation-perfect island? Lobsters! The spices in which they boil the lobster is definitely different from anywhere else, making the crustacean extra tasty.

I've gained 7 lbs in the last month. I think people are lying when they say they hadn't noticed. Damn it, I've noticed! Needless to say, I will be eating salad sans dressing for the next 2 months to get ready for Hawaii in September : )
