Four seasons in one day - June in Canada

Ah, that title of a Crowded House song is such an appropriate description of weather in Canada sometimes. I left Toronto's hot blistering 35 celsius temperatures on Monday June 13 for Quebec City, only to land squarely in 4 straight days of rain, fog and near zero temperatures - aieyah. Of course, did not bring anything warm to wear with me to the meetings in QC, and froze my arse off on most days. The business meetings were a blast - I think I am part of the best team at our company - lovin'it all even though on most days, I have such a xxxx-load of work.
> Biggest gain of this trip - caught up some of my close work friends, whom I haven't seen for almost 6 months, and got to know a few other people much better. The personal stories told, the laughters shared - dare I say it's given me renewed energy and enthusiasm for work? Just gotta love the people. Bless'em, they're a great bunch.
> Biggest loss: not getting to see Cyndi Lauper concert (schedule clash) at Casino Rama - bohoooo....her "girls just wanna have fun" album was the 1st album I ever purchased, by the way, so Cyndi and I go way back : )

Really feeling the brunt of a vacation-free first 6-months of 2005. Thank goodness for the upcoming long weekend to relax and have some fun. GOLF!
