Stormy Day in Toronto

It was about 2:30PM this afternoon at work. Though I have a window office, didn't pay much attention to what was "cooking" out there today. Sure, there was loud thunder and flashes of lightning....

Little did I know that it was one of the biggest storms of the year. Look at these pictures to see all the strange occurences today: hail that fell like snow, flash floods, and funnel clouds in Scarborough and Markham! Check out CP24 pics

Those storms are nuts! And isn't it weird that CityNews has a Picasa album?

Shirley, what is the picture behind your blog title? Dyed lotus leaves? Umbrellas? I'm intrigued.

The glass scultpures are by Chihuly. This one resides in Vegas, on the ceiling of the lobby in Bellagio

Hey. It's rare that I hit "Next" and come upon a page that is even in English anymore. Much less of this calibre. How out there are you? I have a hunch you could relate to me. I just started a kangaroo rodeo.
